Holy Week gives us an opportunity to reflect on the most sacred events in the life of Jesus Christ. In preparation and anticipation of Easter, when we will celebrate the risen Lord together, take time to join us for Holy Week at Covina United Methodist Church:

Also known as Holy Thursday, Maundy Thursday is the first of the three days of solemn remembrance of the last meal Jesus shared with his disciples including the events leading up to and immediately following the crucifixion of Jesus.
Good Friday, Tenebrae Service
March 30, 7:00pm
The word “tenebrae” comes from the Latin meaning “darkness.” The Tenebrae is a Christian Good Friday service that makes use of gradually diminishing light through the extinguishing of candles to symbolize the events of that of Holy Week beginning with the triumphant Palm Sunday entry through Jesus’ burial.
