Aldersgate Chorale

choirThe Aldersgate Chorale serves the Covina United Methodist Church as the church’s principal music ensemble at Sunday morning worship services. Their diverse repertoire embraces the breadth of traditional choral music as well as highlights a variety of music from other cultures.Music serves as one of many vehicles to praise and worship God. It is the belief of the Chorale to tap into that fundamental calling to sing a joyful noise to the Lord. The Aldersgate Chorale meets Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm and is open to everyone.

Celebration Handbells

bellsThe Celebration Handbells provide additional music for the 10:30 service, as well as several concerts throughout the year. The group typically plays in service about once a month, and plays in a variety of styles. No handbells experience is necessary, but a rudimentary knowledge of music notation is required. Playing handbells is a lot of fun, and anyone with even remote musical experience is encouraged to join. The group rehearses on Sunday mornings from 8:30 – 9:30, and plays during the 10:00 worship service.
